Now in its tenth year, the Welsh International Festival of Rugby has been firmly established as the leading mini and junior rugby festival in Wales. Teams travel from all over the UK and Ireland to participate in this prestigious event. A warm Welsh welcome with great hospitality is assured for all participating teams and their families.

Please be aware that this event sells out extremely quickly! Whether you are an U8’s or U16’s team, this event offers everything from exciting rugby to great evening entertainment at the holiday park.

Typical Itinerary

Friday
  • Teams arrive at accommodation base in readiness for the weekend ahead. Accommodation is available from 4pm on day of arrival.
  • For those teams staying at holiday villages you can enjoy the evening entertainment and facilities on offer at the park. Teams staying in all other accommodation please check with a staff member to see what facilities are available and if there is any entertainment on offer.

Saturday
  • Breakfast (Not included in package)
  • Shuttle bus departs from holiday park for the short journey to Shotton Steel RFC (approximately 35 Mins).
  • FESTIVAL DAY 1 – Group games.
  • Evening meal (Not included in package) followed by holiday park entertainment programme.

Sunday
  • Breakfast (Not included in package)
  • Shuttle bus departs campus for the short journey to Shotton Steel RFC.
  • FESTIVAL DAY 2 – Finals Day & presentations.
  • Evening meal (Not included in package) followed by entertainment programme.

Monday

Team’s leave for home.
